RADICAL GRATITUDE
Rev. Dr. Patrick Harbula and Rev. Pam Brandman
Rev. Dr. Patrick Harbula will be giving the talk at CSL Tahoe-Truckee this Sunday, March 26,
2023. Here he shares a central part of his life’s spiritual philosophy: “With each and every life
challenge, we access lasting peace and enter the sacred by asking what there is to be grateful
for. What is the greater love, freedom, joy or any spiritual quality that is wanting to emerge
from your greatest challenge right now?”
In his book called This Thing Called You, Ernest Holmes assured his readers, “You belong to the
universe in which you live, you are one with the Creative Genius back of this vast array of
ceaseless motion, this original flow of life.” When we approach our whole life as part of “this
vast array of ceaseless motion,” we can practice recognizing, with radical gratitude, that each
and every moment is sacred and magical. With this shift, we create an opening to replace
feelings of overwhelm and resistance with a profound realization of life’s unlimited possibilities.
Harbula inspires readers of his book, The Magic of the Soul: Applying Spiritual Principles to Daily
Living, with the thought, “Life becomes filled with a deeper level of peace and meaning as we
recognize every experience as something magical and know that each experience leads us to an
ever-increasing expression of our soul energy.”
Join us this Sunday as we listen to Rev. Dr. Patrick Harbula share his secrets of living life out
loud, living a life of peace and joy.
