The Centers for Spiritual Living Global Vision describes our vision of a world built on the Science of Mind spiritual principles and values. The Global Vision begins with these lines:
“∙We envision all people, all beings, and all life as expressions of God.
∙We see a world in which each and every person lives in alignment with their highest
spiritual principle, emphasizing unity with God and connection with each other; a world in which individually and collectively we are called to a higher state of consciousness and action.”
As we explored vulnerability this month, we learned how vulnerability is required to leave the comfort of the way things have always been, to see new possibilities, and to take action to stand up, stand out to be seen, and actively embody that vision. Our society applauds self-made individuals who confidently make things happen. While this approach often yields much success, a person’s vision and goals may be focused solely on the physical world and their personal success. They may find themselves acting alone, exhausted and unfulfilled.
The courage to be vulnerable opens us to recognize that we can’t do it all. Surrendering to the realization that we are part of a greater Power and Presence, of a greater Love, is what makes all things possible. “All people, all beings, and all life [are] expressions of God.” That urge to experience greater good in our lives comes from the Divine seeking to express Itself more fully in the world. As we allow ourselves to be vulnerable and surrender to our Higher Self, we begin the inner transformation that unleashes Divine Power and Infinite Possibilities. From this individual and collective higher state of consciousness, Love creates a world that works for everyone.
In the last few weeks we have seen young people in Tennessee, Florida and Montana, who are listening to the inner Divine voice. They are willing to be vulnerable, to leave their comfort zone and stand up for their values, for democracy and for our country. Their voices of unity and connection deserve to be heard. Some people have tried to silence these vulnerable and courageous voices, but instead they amplified these voices of Truth. The new leaders to create a world that works for everyone have been born.
