This month we are contemplating Living Everyday Wonder in the area of finances. Each of us
has followed our own financial path that can vary from struggle and lack to abundance and easy
flow or even a roller coaster ride from one extreme to the other. Like all aspects of life, our
beliefs and experiences shift when we go back to the beginning of all existence, to the Infinite
Source of all Life, including ourselves and everything and everyone in our lives. This week we
contemplate that Infinite Source and the abundant nature of the Universe.
The world seems to tell us to judge our wealth by the possessions we have accumulated, lost or
never had. In Matthew 6:33, we are told, “But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his
righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.” The Infinite Divine, our Source,
asks us to look to the Power and Presence of God within us to understand our true nature.
Because Infinite Abundance is the nature of the Divine, Infinite Abundance is also the nature of
the Divine’s creations, including us! We are made of Divine Stuff! As we align our thinking with
our Divine Source, we clear the path for the Divine to manifest Itself in us, through us and as us.
Even so, we may have difficulty seeing our abundance when we keep looking outside ourselves
for the next deal, the next job, and hoping for the next opportunity. We are like a fish
swimming in the ocean that may be looking for water when it is surrounded by and in the midst
of an ocean of water. Our Source is the Infinite Source of ideas and Creative Energy that is
expressing Itself through us. We are the vehicle through which the Divine manifests
abundance.
To transform our financial life experiences from struggle to joy and wonder, we begin by
contemplating our True Nature, which is the Infinite Abundance of the Divine. We are
swimming in an Infinite Ocean of possibilities.
